Multi-Configuration Assemblies
Multi-Configuration Assemblies
(OP)
Hi,
I am trying to create a set of Standard Frames for our company. As an example, I would like to to have something like the ToolBox parts, where you can choose various options eg. screw length, screw size. But, I would like to have many different combinations, such as Frame width, Frame Depth, Frame height, Guarding, No Guarding, Overhead Light, Safety Light Curtain... Then the designer could choose from a drop-down list from the available sizes and options. Can I do this through toolbox or is there a better way to do it using design tables? Any help would be appreciated.
Best Regards,
Jason

RE: Multi-Configuration Assemblies
You could use VB to set this up using a master part file.
you set this up through a DT probably.
Those are a couple of way I can think of off the top of my head.
