butterfly Valve

butterfly Valve

(OP)
Hi

I'm looking for a valve that can be controlled by a motor.
But the diameter of the valve should be 180mm.
The valve is used to control the flow.
The motor should be able to start and stop at any point along its way.

Does someone have any suggestions where I can find that?

RE: butterfly Valve

NIbke,
what do you mean with "the diameter of the valve"? Have you requirements on the internal bore and/or the overall dimensions?
Will a standard ND 8" (DN200) valve work for you, or are you looking for some special, "taylored" size?

And then which is the fluid (water, air, steam, gas, oil, orange juice, vodka, liquid kryptonite, dilithium vapours...?) that you need to control? Pressure, Temperature, chemical nature?
Which kind of material (stainless or carbon steel, special alloy, plastics...?) the piping is made of? What type of joint (flanged, butt-welding, wafer...?) will connect the valve with the rest of the equipment?

Simply a Butterfly valve or a tripple-offset metal-seated one, for example?

Sorry, but without some more information, your question is too generic
About the motor, I think it will be easy to find the controlled electric actuator you need...

Bye,    'NGL
