We are taking an older PC (Win95) out of service so have installed SW on a new PC (WinXP Home).

We really never had any significant problems on the old PC and hope to not have any now, but... just a small issue.

This is the only machine with this problem:
When we click on "Open File", the Open File dialog box lists the files in, I believe, random order. All the other PCs (WinNT, Win98, Win 95) lists them alphabetically. It's very difficult to find a file when there is no order to them. Models and Drawings are not even next to each other. Is there a way to change this?? I've tried changing the WinXP folder options to simulate "classic" style, but that doesn't seem to do anything. What am I missing?

RE: Open File - Dialog Box

In the "Open" dialog box, change the "View Menu" (upper right icon) selection to "Details" and arrange the files according to name, date or whatever you prefer.  (This is using SW2004.)

Boy, I had to be blind. That was toooo obvious.
Don't know why I (we) missed it.

Thanks for the help.
