Sanitary Sewer Abandonment

Sanitary Sewer Abandonment

Sanitary Sewer Abandonment

(OP)
I'm working on a project on which a new building will be built on top of an existing sanitary sewer, approximately eight feet deep. That line will be abandoned after the new building opens, all services having been transferred to a new sewer. About 220 feet of the existing line will be under the new building, and will be filled with grout and abandoned in place. My question is, are there any materials and methods suitable for effectively plugging that length of flat 8" sewer line?
