Need help with knowing where to sell

Need help with knowing where to sell

Need help with knowing where to sell

(OP)
My company recently purchased several copies of Catia Version 5 Release 11. Now, we have realized that we do not need them and I have been told to sell two copies of soft-ware "over ebay" by my employer. I'm sorry but to me this doesn't sound like the best way to sell the product. I have two boxes, the first is Catia Version 5 Release 11 and the second is Catia VErsion 5 Release 9. Where do you think I should go to to sell these copies?

RE: Need help with knowing where to sell

Unfortunately, I don't believe that you can sell CATIA that way.  CATIA software is actually not ever "Purchased" by anyone.  Your payments to IBM/Dassault (or whomever you purchased it from) is merely a "Right to Use" that you have to renew every year.  It is not transferable.  You might see if you can contact your re-seller and recieve a partial refund for the time you have already paid for, but I don't think you will have any luck.

RE: Need help with knowing where to sell

Technically you don't purchase copies of CATIA but rather the license to use it.  I have R14 CDs you can have for free.  They are useless without a license agreement with IBM (or at least it is illegal to use it without one).

RE: Need help with knowing where to sell

May be "Yard Sale" will solve this problem.

RE: Need help with knowing where to sell

It's called "Garage Sale" in Downunder ... ^_^
