RE: Entry level mechanical engineer

RE: Entry level mechanical engineer

RE: Entry level mechanical engineer

(OP)
Hello, I am not sure if this question belongs to this forum or not. If so, please advise me where it should be posted. I am a recently graduated mechanical engineer with an EIT certifiate. I am in the US on a F-1 (Student) visa. I was wondering if anyone knew what the best place/site for me to look for a job would be?

Thanks in advance.

RE: RE: Entry level mechanical engineer

Heres a couple to try:

www.monster.com (Where I got my present job)
www.headhunter.net
www.hotjobs.com

Look out for a lot of recruters on the sites though. You'll get twice as many of those people calling as company's. However sometimes they can get you leads on jobs. One little hint. Update your online resume every week, even if you don't change anything, because the sites post the newest resume's first, at the top of the list. You want your name on the top of the list, or at least on the first page.

Try www.asme.org. This is the American Soceity of Mechanical Engineers website and it provides many entry-level positions across the U.S.
