Babcock multi-segment display

(OP)
Greetings,

I have an SP450-026-02 Babcock multi segment display and I can't find the specs for it.  I am trying to build a driver circuit for it.  Does anyone out there know where I can find a data sheet or any information?  I think that the part is obsolete and so when I contacted the company they tried to help but they didn't seem to have the data sheets any more.

Thanks

RE: Babcock multi-segment display

I did a Google search on

babcock  sp450

The top hit was on an SP450-018. If yours is anything like that then guessing what the spec is will be difficult. Although Babcock have been unable to find a spec, they ought to be able to suggest a similar device for which they do have a spec, at least to give the pin-out for example. You would think that they would know how many characters, and that would determine the pin-out, unless they kept changing them at random over the years!
