Fastener Selection and Part Number Guide

Fastener Selection and Part Number Guide

Fastener Selection and Part Number Guide

(OP)
I am looking to obtain a fastener (screw, nut, washer, etc.) guide that lists not only the applicable dimensions (.086") and sizes (#2-56) but also the aerospace standard part numbers (MS..., NAS..., etc.). I have a few different versions from different companies but none cover the total range we use (0-80 thru 1/4-20, reduced OD washers, etc.). Does anyone know of such an animal?

RE: Fastener Selection and Part Number Guide

IHS has recently introduced this type of product.  You can obtain more information from their website:

RE: Fastener Selection and Part Number Guide

Thank you for the link.  It seems to be exactly what I am looking for... BUT... it is obviously a beta test version. While trying to do a "search" for the number for a standard part the application would not store the items I had already specified, and would crash when approaching the last item.

I hope IHS keeps improving this program, as I am SURE I would be a constant user!

In the mean time, if anyone knows of a similar site or a printed copy of such a selection guide please let me know.
