Hole callouts; editing?

Hole callouts; editing?

Is it possible to edit the number of pieces in hole callouts? I want to automatically put parenthesis around the value?
"2X 5/16-18 UNC-2B" becomes "(2X) 5/16-18 UNC-2b".
The command is <NUM_INST>. I thought I could put parenthesis around that command, but when I searched calloutformat.txt I cannot find it? Thanks in advance, GIGATT

RE: Hole callouts; editing?

Gigatt, try to stick with the ANSI standard which is number of items without parenthesis. In this case "2X 5/16-18 UNC-2B" is standard, "(2X)..." is not.

RE: Hole callouts; editing?

If you can't find it by searching. Then have you tried checking your file locations in Tools\Options\System options\File locations\Hole callout format file - ? If your inserting Hole callouts, then it has to be pulling the data from somewhere.

Scott, thanks for your time. I have been in this file "\Solidworks\Lang\English\Calloutformat.txt", since the beginning. The question is where can I find that command "<NUM_INST>? It is not in that file. I guess I should go with netshop21's advice unless someone else can help me.
