Cosmos Question

Cosmos Question

Cosmos Question

(OP)
Hello,

Looking to purchase a FEA progam.  Cosmos is very attractive since I already have Solidworks.  Can anyone tell me if I can batch run load cases in cosmos?  I am familiar with the design tables in Solidworks and am hoping there is something similar in Cosmos.  I would like to set up muliply load cases on various geometries and let it run while I do other things.

Thanks.

RE: Cosmos Question

I do believe there are ways to set up a design and have Cosmos calc for different loadings. However when running cosmos I've found that the machine cant do anything else. (Though you dont specifiy, I like to do the microscope, etc work while running an analysis.)

RE: Cosmos Question

Just to second Nick, you can definitely run load and geometry cases in Cosmos.  Just ran something overnight with 27 different geometry tweaks (playing with the effect of 3 different dimensions.)  But don't plan on using your computer for anything else while the run is going.
