Hi,

We sold a product line to another manufacturer that does not have ProIntralink.  What is the quickest way to copy 3000 files out of Commonspace to a location that can be burned to CD or other?

This is the only way we know of.  First CHECKOUT all the files into a workspace.  Second open a file.  Third, use BACKUP command to drop a copy onto the hard drive.

This process would need to be done hundreds of times.  If one doesn’t do every file, how does one know all the files are copied?

There’s gotta be a better way!

Thanks for any suggestions.

Use export from Workspace to disk.

Or just check them out to a new workspace and copy them from the workspace folder under the .proi folder.

Thanks for pointing out that obvious command in Workspace.  I'll definitely be using it.
If I could just get the files checked out to a Workspace.  I am getting NOT RESPONDING status.  Is it outrageous to CHECKOUT 3000 files in a Commonspace directory in one pop?  I wait and wonder if I should be taking another approach.
