Creating Mapkeys

Creating Mapkeys

Creating Mapkeys

(OP)
I am looking for some help when creating mapkeys in Pro-E Wildfire 2. I want to make a mapkey that fixes the saved views once I edit one.  The place that I worked had written a program that automatically did it for them once the clicked an icon.  I was just wondering if I could create a mapkey to do this?  If so, what would be the easiest way to do it.

Thanks

RE: Creating Mapkeys

Hello,

This should do, select TOOLS --> MAPKEY --> NEW

enter a key_sequence e.g. save view, press RECORD

from PRO-E select VIEW --> VIEW MANAGER --> ORIENT and select NEW, Press the RETURN KEY, select CLOSE.

In the MAP_KEY window select STOP and OK and select CLOSE.

In PRO_E place the mouse in the toolbar area and right click the mouse, a menu window will appear, select COMMANDS, scroll the CATEGORIES window down to find MAPKEYS, in the MAPKEY WINDOW find your macro (probably at the bottom). Pick and drag this into a toolbar.

In Pro-e move the model about, and then press the icon you have just created and select the view created, the model should return to the view you created/saved.

Is this any use?

That ois kinda what I looking for, but I would like to set a different view as front. Then click a button and it set the top and right side for me.  I think I can do that with the dynamic mode if I tell the mapkey to: rotate right 90 deg-save as right-start over then rotate up 90 deg. Or something like that.  does that sound right?

Thanks for the help.
