(OP)
Where can I find properties like conductivity, heat capacity, and density of leaves, grass, tree bark, and wet or green wood?
Thanks,
Scott

RE: thermal properties of vegetation

The closest thing I can think of is in ASHRAE’s Refrigeration Handbook.  The information is given for commercial cooling and freezing of foods.

RE: thermal properties of vegetation

Depending on what you are trying to do, ASAE (American Society of Agircultural Engineers) may have something. They deal a lot with crop drying and composting. ASHRAE Refrigeration is probably your best bet though.

Without looking myself before I answer, I would look for much of what you are seeking in the B&W publication "Steam-its generation and uses" mentioned in other threads in this forum.  Do a search on this site to see where to obtain it.
