Metal Clad Post-Frame End Wall Properties

Metal Clad Post-Frame End Wall Properties

(OP)
The NFBA's Post-Frame Building Design Manual states that Table 6.1 'represents a small percentage of available data' yet I am having an extremely difficult time in locating any data or design examples for metal clad endwalls. (The design example at the end of the manual estimates endwall stiffness from the available diaphragm data, which seems kind of sketchy.)
I am specifically interested in properly designing the 4ft wide x 14ft high perforated shearwalls on either side of a centered 32ft wide x 14ft high door in the 40ft wide endwall of a 40x60 building.
Much of the ASAE information is very technical and inconclusive. Surely there are some current simplified design procedures in use.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!

RE: Metal Clad Post-Frame End Wall Properties

As far as I know, perforated shear wall design only applies to wood sheathing.  You have two, separate, 4' wide by 14' tall shear walls.  There will probably be some big overturning forces, but the "poles" will be anchored down to the foundation wall or thickened slab.
