hi friends,
i have some drawings of version R13 which do not open in R7.can anybody help.

Downward utility only supports part docs but perhaps you can save it as a DXF or Dwg file on your v513 station I'm not sure if v5r7 reads AutoCad files but the more recent versions do.

Use downwardcompatability tool that is found under Tools-Utility (R13) , just select the release you want to be compatable with . You may lose some info as the reason it won't open in R7 is that the drawing contains data created by functionality that doesn't exist in R7
