Inserting smart fasteners for derived pattern

Inserting smart fasteners for derived pattern

Inserting smart fasteners for derived pattern

(OP)
I have a question about inserting smart fasteners. I made a hole in a body and then patterned it. Now I am trying to insert fasteners in all the holes (including the patterned ones). But Smart Fasteners feature only inserts fasteners in the original holes, not the patterned ones.

I also tried this: I first inserted fasteners in the original holes. Then I tried to pattern the fasteners themselves. But it doesn't work.

Your suggestions will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks to all those who read this.

RE: Inserting smart fasteners for derived pattern

If you highlight the original hole (first hole) and insert the fastener in there you should get the option Populate all. But if you didn't use the hole wizard to make your holes, then you won't.
