Assembly level custom props to part docs

I am trying to (to see if I can) have custom properties,
in an assembly, be propagated down thru the part files,
*without code*

anyone have any tricks? Ill even go from Assy -> dwg-> part
if I have to....

RE: Assembly level custom props to part docs

I've been trying to do the same thing in reverse for a while now.

I knew I wasn't using the right buzzwords.

I am trying to populate the contents of an assembly-level Design Table with the values in a Design Table of one of the Components.

------------------

Also...my recent install of 2005 has me wondering if I can set the file's "Custom Properties" with my Design Table.  (Everything in my DT is config-specific)    I think I can put this 'Design Journal' thing to good use, but it's not reading the Description from my DT.

"I'm gonna go get the papers, get the papers."
