*.slddrw is a SolidWorks drawing, usually created from a template.
*.sldprt is a SolidWorks part file.

*.SLDDRT = Sheet format - This maintains your Title Blocks or your sheet formats that can be placed in Drawing Templates. This is also where you can place notes, etc... in your title block for future use with models.
It's best to keep backups of all the above.
