Threadolet Classes vs pipe Schedule
Threadolet Classes vs pipe Schedule
(OP)
If any can offer some information on how to designate a class of threaded fitting to the schedule of pipe required for a specified service it would be most helpfull.
According to B16.11 in table 2 the fitting class is determined by the schedule of pipe required. But I am confused if this is also for Threadolet type branch connection or not. And is there a pressure rating for class designation of threaded fittings eg: 2000#, 3000#. If so where in the code may I find such information.

RE: Threadolet Classes vs pipe Schedule
Small diameter NPT fittings have WTs which are good for much more than the design pressure in order to add structural rigidity.
