Plywood and Nails Gusset Plates for Truss

Does anyone know where I can find allowable shear values for nails in plywood gusset plates (values that are approved for building code use)?  I have a stubborn client who wants to fabricate his own wood trusses with plywood gussets.  The glue and nail solution sounds good, but is there test data to back up a particular assembly (ICBO Evaluation Reports?)?
I read the last discussion on plywood gussets using nails and glue, but there was no mention of test data to back up a connection assembly.
Thanks.

Thanks boo1.
I contacted MWPS and spoke with one of the engineers.  I am ordering the publicatin MWPS-9 and hope to receive by fax a research paper w/ test data from the engineer at MWPS.  I'll post the title of the research paper.
