Does anybody know if any company has developed an absorption air conditioning system for a car?

IIRC, the refrigerant used in the absorption type refrigerators used to be ammonia...I don't think it would be very nice if the evaporator coil sprung a leak while traveling 75MPH on I-10...
When I was a kid, a local meat packing plant had an ammonia chilled freezer. Several times the HAZMAT team (Fire Department) had to come out when there was an ammonia leak. Once they had to evacuate around 10,000 people.
So, perhaps one of the HVAC guys could come on and tell us what is used in absorption refrigeration units these days.
