Testing for deadman anchors

Testing for deadman anchors

Testing for deadman anchors

(OP)
Does anyone know of an online reference which deals with the tests required in Canada for deadman anchors.

I know that pull out tests, performance tests, proof tests and creep tests are conducted on tie back anchors but are these required /applicable for deadman anchors also.

RE: Testing for deadman anchors

Hi harpoon,

In my experience with numerous deadman anchors across Canada, not one required a pull-out test.
