metering pump

metering pump

(OP)
Does anyone know who/where I can start a search for a smaller metering pump with following criterimn;
- flows approx 2ml/sec. at ~10% precision
- can be ganged/stacked to produce 3 flow streams from common input drive
- water based medium
- physical size of approx 3" dia or less, driven by an elongated shaft.

This would make it similar to the drum pumps, but I require the constant flows of a positive displacement pump over that of centrifugal.

I think what I am looking for is maybe a miniature gear pump set/housing that I can custom house. My volumes may justify mold injecting a body where I can drop in a stack of stainless gear pairs. Anyone come across suitable options?. I've done some pretty exhaustive internet surfing, spoke with several fuel pump suppliers, and even have a proto typed gear pump that uses a flexible housing to improve precision. Just wanted to check to see if I'm not missing an opportunity before committing to the more expensive phase of carrying proto to production.

RE: metering pump

Have you looked at peristaltic pumps? Do an internet search-this might be what you are looking for.

RE: metering pump

You can check with manufacturers of pharmaceutical filling lines. What you specified is well within their range and with better accuracy. Depending upon the MOC, the prices will be in the range of USD 2000 to 5000.

Some manufacturers are Robert Bosch, Bosch Storebel, Groninger and Inova etc.
