CIRCU94 to simulate a real resistance

CIRCU94 to simulate a real resistance

(OP)
I'm modeling a mech. excitaded structure with bonded piezoelectric actuators. The goal of this work is to provide a harmonic analysis firstly with the shorted electrodes and subsequently to damp single vibration modes with a shunted RL circuit. I modeled the circuit with CIRCU94 elements and the piezos with SOLID5, but no influence on the amplitude and phase mech after applying different resistances. response of the structure was observed. Is the present analysis impossible with the actual elements? It exist a particular trick to bring at work this analysis? Has somebody already done a similar analysis, and he knows the possible problems?
