abaqus cae -- insufficient system resource

(OP)
Hi,

I am running abaqus cae on a unix workstation, through my PC (installed with Exceed).  But I am unable to run it, and it reported the following error:  (I have DISPLAY property properly set up).  Can someone tell me what is going on?  Thanks a lot!

>ABAQUS License Manager checked out the following license(s):
"cae" version 6.3 from XX.XX.*******
<3 out of 5 licenses remain available>.
Exception 'Exception: xmd_ResourceErr: Insufficient system resource available. in file /usr/abaqus60/6-r63_copy/source/xmd/impl/xmd_XMediaRole.C at line 241' exiting job.

RE: abaqus cae -- insufficient system resource

Why haven't you installed version 6.4? As you should know this version no longer requires Exceed on PC's, thus removing the burden of running X window emulation software.

Thanks -- but Abaqus was installed on our unix workstation, not on my PC.  (Also, I am using a Dell laptop, and the hardware is not supported to run Abaqus yet.)

I am using Exceed 6.1 -- it runs Patran perfectly (Patran is also installed on the workstation).  My PC is also somewhat high-ended, so I really don't know where might go wrong.
