Font Change

Font Change

(OP)
I've noticed a change in my drawing fonts since running SW 2005 from 2004. The letters and numbers are running together making it very hard to read dimensions and at times text. Has anyone else experienced this change? It's really noticeable on our title block templates, but is occuring everywhere else on the drawings. I've looked to see if there is an option for changing the spacing but can't find anything.

Thanks

RE: Font Change

This is a known problem with SW2005. By "known" I mean it has been reported as a bug and acknowledged by SW.  I haven't found a way to fix or work around this.  I typically use Arial Narrow font but have found that every font I have tried about a dozen)have this issue.  Bolding the text does space the letters better in the Arial Narrow font.  This problem is the sole reason we have not made the jump to SW 2005.  According to the SW website info there is no plans to fix this in SW 2005 SP1.  I wish I had better info for you.

Thanks rockguy,

Something has changed since I posted the question. I went back and printed the drawing again as the display looked different and somehow it now looks normal. I don't think I changed anything that I know of but it seems the problem is solved at least with me for the time being. I'll let you know if I can find out what might have changed.
