PhotoWorks Decal on a Cylinder

PhotoWorks Decal on a Cylinder

(OP)
I am trying to add a decal to a cylindrical surface and need to how to move the decal. When I attach the decal I am able to adjust the size and the position above or below the axis of the cylinder, but I am unable to move the decal along the axis. How can I move the decal from the end of the cylinder to the center?

RE: PhotoWorks Decal on a Cylinder

The interface for positioning decals on cylindrical surfaces has always been inconsistent.  You may notice that decals shift position after closing and reopening the file.  The better way to do this is to split the face and apply the decal to the newly split area.  This gives you explicit control over the position of the decal and you don't have to rely on the flakey interface to accomplish your goal.
