Batch print to file

Batch print to file

Hello everyone !

Can anyone tell me how can I do a batch PRINT TO FILE to have EPS for all the files I want to print later on.  My printer can handle EPS file.

I know I can use Task Scheduler to batch print files, but how can I print then to file instead of the printer.
Any suggestions much appreciated.  I am using Solidworks 2005 or even 2004 SP4.1

RE: Batch print to file

File\Print - Check mark "Print to file" That is the only option in the print Dialog box. What file it makes I'm not sure. Try it and see.

RE: Batch print to file

Perhaps print to PDF?  You can use Bluebeam and PDF995 (see <http://www.pdf995.com>) as printers to produce PDF (Acrobat) files.

Scott, Tick,

Thanks for the input, and i know about print to file while printing, I also know about the PDF file format, infact I dont even need Pushbutton PDF software as an add-on to convert to PDF, now I can just save as !  But I want to convert to EPS file by print to file in a batch or group. Scott the filetype I get when I print to file depends on the printer I choose.

So my question would be how to print to file in a batch !

Regards
vik

RE: Batch print to file

There is no known program that I'm aware of the prints a Batch of Print files. This is something you would have to write or pay someone to write. Unless you search the web you might find something out there.
