Layer Window in Mechaical 2005

Layer Window in Mechaical 2005

(OP)
I am finding a HUGE lag in the 2005 mechanical layer manager. It'll take forever to actually load the layers, and even then it doesn't actually show the layer states (I can move the mouse over the thaw or freeze and select it, but I can't actually see the icon to know what it curently is) any one know of a remedy? Thanks.

RE: Layer Window in Mechaical 2005

FYI, the layers are not actually created until a Mechanical object is created. The layer dialog lets you see the current layer configuration that is in place. If you were to create a bolt or begin drawing an object's contour, the layer states would begin to show up based on the object created. I hope I am making sense.
