Solution for Wrong Installed Anchors?

Solution for Wrong Installed Anchors?

Solution for Wrong Installed Anchors?

(OP)
Our deisgner specified the following anchors for a Turbine house in an industrial project. M52 with embeded nuts with washers PL diam (e)140 (i)55 Th. 12. Unfortunately we have placed the wrong ones PL e98 i54 Th 7. We are now afraid that the anchors installed will not be sufficient to take the loads and the foundation has been poured already. Had anyone gone trhough a similar situation and could advice how to solve it the easiest possible?

RE: Solution for Wrong Installed Anchors?

Ask designer to check anchors with washers provided.

If he says that he needs more, use additional epoxy anchors with additional strips of plate, welded to base plates.

Good luck.
