Effect on winding with different frequency

Effect on winding with different frequency

Effect on winding with different frequency

(OP)
I was hoping a relatively consice answer could be provided for the following.  Wondering what effect on a motor winding would occur with an increase of 200Hz, to 300 Hz.
Thanks in advance

RE: Effect on winding with different frequency

I wouldn't expect any damage to occur as long as the rated voltage for the winding is not exceeded.  You can expect the current to fall off as frequency increases if you are measuring coil current only.

If this is a motor being fed 300Hz, you will surely need a motor and especially a rotor designed for this speed.  Two poles will produce 18000rpm, for example.
