Error in imported file

Error in imported file

(OP)
I have several solids I've imported from Autocad thru IGES, and they have error symbols in feature manager. Tools/Check tells there is a General fault 1.
Is there any way to fix this problem or at least get rid of that error symbol?
Thank you.

RE: Error in imported file

If it's a surface you can try to run a Diagnose on the file and maybe it will get rid of the general fault. Otherwise you have to manually get rid of it. You might have to cut out that section and replace it with other surfaces, etc...

There is no easy way to get rid of general faults with a lot of work on your end. But you have to get rid of them or they will haunt you and your part before you finish with it.
