All,

I have a test report for a 1800kW, 600V diesel gen. set and the Ta for this gen. is .0004 seconds.  That seems awfully fast, considering some of the other units that I have data sheets for are around .05 to .07.  Does this seems strange to anyone else??

RE: Generator Armature Short circuit Ta

Looking at a few spec sheets I have lying around for the 600 to 1000kW size range, 0.02 to 0.03 seems typical.
