Mill Building for Ethanol Plant

Mill Building for Ethanol Plant

Mill Building for Ethanol Plant

(OP)
I am designing a mill building for an ethanol plant in Australia. It is a seven storey buiulding and the mill will grind grain for fermentation. Does anyone have experience in this type of building who can tell me what sort of structure it should be?

Should it have steel plate, concrete, or timber floors?
Should it be fully lined so that dust can not build up?
Would grating floors on steel beams be OK?

RE: Mill Building for Ethanol Plant

Go look at some other feed mill type operations. Check with the local fire marshall about fire codes. Grain milling can be an explosive situation.
