how to hide a part in assembly drawing in side view

Hi friends,

I have created an assembly drawing in Catia V5R11.  I need to hide a part in Side view only.  Please can anyone show me the way?.

Thanks,

RE: how to hide a part in assembly drawing in side view

I think that you can only part in an Assembly. After that you will get in all views hidden part. I think you can not hide part in the Drawing in only one view.

Sorry I have mistake in first sentence.

Hi there.

Use 'overload properties' which you'll find in the right click menu when clicking the viewframe.
With this feature you can uncheck "Use when Projecting", and the Part will not be shown in that view only.

See your documentation for further info on Overload properties in generative drafting workbench.
