Reject Paint Marking System

Reject Paint Marking System

Reject Paint Marking System

(OP)
I am looking for a fairly inexpensive painting system to dot mark rejects.  There are four different reasons that a part can be rejected, but one reject bin, paint marking would make for easier sorting of the rework.  I need the system to be reliable about not clogging up since it will not be used on a regular basis except for rejects.

Any suggestions would be helpful!!!!

Thank you!

RE: Reject Paint Marking System

The carco markers (from what I  have used) could be called spitters or spritzers. The cheaper ones tend to be messy over time, but because of the ink mess (drips) they don't clog as much.

One thing that we have used for simple dots is an off the shelf marker attached to a cylinder 'head'. When they dry out, which is often a new one is very inexpensive. If a custom mark is required, there are companies who will make a custom die for a setup charge and the markers are then reasonably priced.

Hope this helps.
