linetype scale:- modelspace Vs paperspace (2000i)

linetype scale:- modelspace Vs paperspace (2000i)

(OP)
hi...

after setting up my linetype scales in model space, i view the model through a viewport in paperspace.
the problem is that the linetype scale changes in this view, i have tried highlighting the viewport and changing the linetype scale settings in the properties box, this changes nothing.

as far as i can tell linetype settings are one in the same in both paper and model space... i thought the viewport properties would let me control things inside it, but i dont notice any changes...

my manual is telling me nothing...

appreciate any help... thankyoupleesh

You don't mention your AutoCAD version, but try this:
Format / LineType - check the box "Use paper space units for scaling" and set the scale to 1
