Blank Lines in BOM Table

Blank Lines in BOM Table

Blank Lines in BOM Table

(OP)
Here is my problem:
When I create a table using the repeat region and then fix the index to keep all of the balloon numbers in order, when I delete one of the items from the assembly the item disappears from the Parts List and skips that number.
What I would like to do would be to have a blank row in the repeat region where that item use to be.
Our manufacturing work instructions rely on the balloon number so we must leave the items in the original order that the table was fixed to.

Any help would be appreciated.

RE: Blank Lines in BOM Table

Try replacing the deleted item with a BULK item (should be at the same level in the model Tree as the deleted part), and create the parameters in such a way as to show a blank line, except for the INDEX #.

RE: Blank Lines in BOM Table

Hi Wenglish,

Fix the table using table, repeat region, fix index, fix region, or you can fix record the number you want to skip.
