FD&T V4 -V5 migration / visibility

FD&T V4 -V5 migration / visibility

FD&T V4 -V5 migration / visibility

Is it possible to view a V4 model containing FD&T information in V5?  If so How?

RE: FD&T V4 -V5 migration / visibility

Hi dean01,

It's me again!!

Fairly confident that it can be done ...

1. File + New a CATProduct
2. Insert the V4 model into it
3. Move your cursor on top of the GD&T set
4. MB3 + Annotation set switch on/switch off
...

5. You can of course further migrate them by Copy the GD&T set
6. Then paste it under the new CATProduct

Cheers. Kennis Tang.

Thanks for the advice...

I have tried your recomendations, unfortunately without success... when I use MB3 I do not get the option to swith annotation on or of.

RE: FD&T V4 -V5 migration / visibility

Hi dean01,

Can't ?!?!

No need to say that you have FT&A license, haven't you?

Try this one
1) View + Commands List
2) Look for the command "Annotation set switch on/switch
   off"
3) double click it
4) you should have it ...

Cheers. Kennis Tang.
