TEXT WITH BOXES

TEXT WITH BOXES

TEXT WITH BOXES

(OP)
Is there a text font that has a feature that can place a white (or blank) box around the font. Purpose is to make the font more distinctive on aerial backgrounds.

I know that Acad sees the font with a box around it when it is selected within a hatch. I'm looking for something similar.

A cheating method would be to but a white solid behind the text, but this takes time with mutliple labels.

Express Tools has a function that wipes out the area behind the font, but if the font is moved a hole is left.

Why? The text and the wipeout (image) are one object. Did You REGEN?

Are you sure you are using Text Mask and not Wipeout? Text Masking associates the wipeout with the text, so there shouldn't be a problem.

RE: TEXT WITH BOXES

UNDER MY EXPRESS TOOLS /TEXT @ THE BOTTOM THERES A FUNCTION THAT ALLOWS YOU TO PUT AN OBJECT AROUND THE TEXT IN UR DWG

TAKE A LOOK IT WAS PRETTY EASY TO USE...
