Postprocessing a portion of the model

Postprocessing a portion of the model

Postprocessing a portion of the model

(OP)
Hello everybody,

I would like to use the PLNSOL command only a portion of my model. Which commands should I use ?

I saw in the ANSYS users manual I can use the SUBSET command, but don't understand very well HOW to use it (arguments, other associated commands, ...).

Can someone help me ?

Thanks a lot,

Sev

Do you want to look at nodal stress contours (plnsol) on certain areas, volumes, elements etc.. If so, just use select logic to select that part of the model you are interested in (ESEL, VSEL, ASEL...) and then issue plnsol. Easy peezy.
