Design of Structural Glass

Design of Structural Glass

(OP)
Does anyone know of any good references for the design of structural glazing systems.

In particular I am interested in

1. unframed glass walls consisting of tensioned truss assemblies supporting glass walls via patch fittings and "spiders" onto the rear face of the glass.
and
2. Long term creep effects on glass (in particular laminated panes)

I have heard that the Canadian code is a reasonable reference but have no other references. Can anyone assist?

RE: Design of Structural Glass

Have you tried to get info from some specialist glass suppliers ? Someone like Viracon (www.viracon.com)can probably give you creep data and also refer you to structural codes.
