NEMA standards to IEC

NEMA standards to IEC

(OP)
I am looking for specific information regarding IEC electric motors.  We commonly use explosion proof NEMA motors, but have received an inquiry for the same in IEC.  Where can I get IEC information  (specifically EExd and its description and requirements) or cross referencing that would tell me what IEC motor would be required for a NEMA
Class 1 Group D explosion proof application.

Any idea of brands offering off the shelf IEC motors?

RE: NEMA standards to IEC

By off the shelf do you mean off the shelf in the North America? Because naturally motor suppliers everywhere else would have IEC motors off the shelf since that is what they sell!

In the US / Canada, try ABB http://www.abb.com/motors&drives
and Brook Crompton http://www.brookcromptonna.com/

Also, here is a handy little guide to HazLoc motor selection from BC http://www.brookcrompton.com/pdf-files/2108e_atex_v3.pdf
