Noise Barrier

Noise Barrier

Noise Barrier

(OP)
I have been asked to look at options for a noise barrier between and an office building and an industrial processing facility.  I usually design building structures, not site civil structures so I don't have much in the way of resources of different options available.  Can I get some suggestions?  The owner wants to be able to take some of the wall apart to access equipment.

I assume the best option would be a precast panel set inside a precast 'I' shaped pile.  Any other suggestions?  Any specific products I should look at?

Thanks.

Rich

RE: Noise Barrier

Many states have traffic noise barrier designs similar to your assumption.  These work well and you can actually design doors into them.

Check the Florida DOT website....go to the design section and you'll probably find some info on it.
