Set Rotate Point Shortcut Key(s)

Set Rotate Point Shortcut Key(s)

Set Rotate Point Shortcut Key(s)

(OP)
Hi All

Is there a shortcut key in UGNX-2 for setting the rotate point?(Similar to F3 select object in CATIA V4)
Or is it possible to set up custom shortcuts?

TIA

RE: Set Rotate Point Shortcut Key(s)

You can list all your shortcut keys (called accelorators in UG) by picking:
information-->Custom Menu Bars--> Accelerators
You can CHANGE your Accelerators by editing
\ugbasedir\ugii\menus\ug_view_popup.men, search for

BUTTON UG_VIEW_POPUP_SET_ROTATE_POINT
LABEL &Set Rotate Point
ACTIONS STANDARD

and change it to something like:

BUTTON UG_VIEW_POPUP_SET_ROTATE_POINT
LABEL &Set Rotate Point
ACCELERATOR Fx   <-- whatever accellerator you want to use
ACTIONS STANDARD

It is very important that you assign a previously unassigned value to this. You can unassign another action by editing either the same file or editing ug_main.men, and commenting the ACCELERATOR line out, or changing the value.
