NEED A 50:1 PRECISION GEARBOX QUICK!

NEED A 50:1 PRECISION GEARBOX QUICK!

NEED A 50:1 PRECISION GEARBOX QUICK!

(OP)
I have a need for a precision (less than 10 arc-min) gearbox for a servo for an upcoming test that I want to do.  Ideally the gearbox would be between 40:1 and 60:1.  Since it is only a test, I'd like to pick one up cheap somewhere relatively fast.  Does anyone know of any good sources for surplus or leftover or even somewhat used gearboxes?

Thanks.

RE: NEED A 50:1 PRECISION GEARBOX QUICK!

It won't be cheap but Stober Drives in Maysville KY typically ships servo duty gearing in three days or less.

If you really need it to be precision do the Stober.  Some other boxes don't live up to the catalog ratings and have excessive wind up.  But you are going to pay around 10% more.
