I am using NX2 modeling. When I have a large assembly and I use "fit" or "replace view" the screen goes blank and the only thing I see is WCS. I have enough memory and UGS has checked my graphics card, it is not the problem. If I use "orient view" sometimes the model comes back but some other times it takes for ever and it does not come back. Any one else has had this problem?
Thank You

Go through ALL of your view options for modeling & see if anything helps.  Did you make any changes at any point in time?

Also check Preferences -> Visualization Performance.  Click the Large Model tab & make sure Fixed Frame Rate & View Frustum Culling are turned off....just a shot.

If above doesn´t work I believe that you have an entity far away from the solids, thus when using fit the solids shrink to be able to show everything.

To find the entity I would recommend that you just blank all the solids and then use revers blank all, then fit and you should find it.

I Clicked the Large Model tab & turned Fixed Frame Rate & View Frustum Culling off and it seems the problem is gone away.
Thanks for your help

Glad to know it helped.  You'll have to do that for each major release you install (NX, NX2, NX3, etc.) unless UGS decides to turn them OFF by default (which they should in my humble opinion).  I'm surprised UGS didn't inquire about those settings before looking into graphics card problems.  This has been a shitty default setting since back in v18.
