Chilled water piping

Chilled water piping

(OP)
Is there a maximum length for chilled water piping loop? If there is how long is the maximum run of pipe?

Thank you all!

RE: Chilled water piping

No limitations to the length of the piping unless if you have a strict recommendation for the temperture rise. I used 2km one way piping (i.e 2+2) and the temperature rise was 20C in my case as most of the piping was exposed to ambience.

But it is always better to keep the generation point nearer to the user points for obvious reasons.
