I represent the french company AREVA, which is an actor of foreground in the trades of  energy (energy conversion, routing of electricity, LV/HV) and of the connector industry.
The group proposes to its customers technological solutions to produce nuclear energy and to convey electricity (for example the electrolysis of aluminium).
In order to guarantee the reliability of our products, we use methods of calculation of reliability and MTBF, and FMECA.
However, we want to strengthen our basic data concerning the reliability of our products, and we are searching for a collection of reliability or failure rates.
We would be interested by such a collection knowing that we use principally powers components (transformers, rectifiers, thyristors, systems of cooling by water...)
We would like to have further informations concerning your collection of
data, to know if it concerns many equipments used in power electronic, and which are the equipments which are described there.

Our activity concentrates on the field of the energy transformation, and not nuclear energy.
We are looking for data of reliability concerning :

? The power electronic equipment such as energy converters, rectifiers with thyristors, diodes for powers around 50MW under 1500V voltage.
? The associated water cooling system.
? The sensors and actuators located on process
? The corresponding numeric control.

I heard spoken about some data handbook like Oreda, EiReda, Faradip, T-Book, or IEEE...
Could a person say to me which collection of data would be appropriate best for my attempts.

Sincerely yours

My name is David Gerlits, and I am a new Areva employee, working for Rich Turcotte in the Risk and Reliability group in the Framatome ANP office in Marlborough, MA.

Were you successful in obtaining copies of Oreda, EiReda, Faradip, or T-Book.

I'm going to have our company librarian buy us copies, unless you were successful in getting access to them.  If you have not been successful, I will try and obtain them, and I will share them with you if that is allowed.

I also have electronic copies of a number of US data sources, if you are interested in them.
