Can anyone tell me if something meets IP67, does that mean it was desgined and tested to mett IP67, or is there a governing body in which the manufacturer sends the part in to be tested and certified by the governing body?

Thanks!

RE: IP67

Hi.
I have spoken to one of our manufacturers, who have told me that, although the motors are made to a certain standard (EN 60034-5)... They are not sent to any outside body to be tested....!!
hope this is of some help
